Services for Norma Lee Albro, 84, Ada, are 2 p.m. Thursday at Rollow Chapel of First United Methodist Church, the Rev. Guy Langston officiating. Burial follows at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Ms. Albro died Feb. 29, 2004, at her home. She was born Oct. 9, 1919, at Poplar Bluff, Mo., to Francis Samuel and Mittie Olivia Gibbons Albro. She attended school at Ardmore and the University of Oklahoma.

Ms. Albro was employed with the War Department, later known as the Department of Defense. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and came to Ada around 1982 from Myrtle Beach, S.C.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Emma May Spears, in 1993; and two brothers, F. B. Albro and Bruce Albro.

Survivors include three nephews, Bruce Albro, Florida, Frank Albro, Red River, N.M., and Phillip Albro, of the home; six great-nephews, Rich Albro, Coby Albro, Scot Albro, Jason Albro, Tim Albro and Derek Albro.
