Services for Maxine Willoughby, 86, of the Maxwell Community are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Oil Center Pentecostal Holiness Church, Rev. Earl Blankenship will officiate. Burial will follow at Maxwell Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Willoughby died Saturday, November 6, 2010 at her home. She was born December 11, 1923 at Russellville, Arkansas to Mack Henry and Annie Childers Gregory. She attended Galey and Vanoss schools.

She married Marion William Willoughby August 5, 1939. He preceded her in death on March 10, 1988. Mrs. Willoughby was a homemaker and farmed and ranched with her husband. She was a member of the Maxwell Community Church.

Survivors include four sons, Leon Willoughby and wife Pat, Oakman, Dale Willoughby and wife Ann, Gentry, AR, Wayne Willoughby and wife Charlotte, Oil Center, and Paul Willoughby and wife Tonya, Oil Center; two daughters, Glenda Young and husband Al, Bunker Hill, WV, and Freda Inman, Maxwell; a daughter-in-law, Pearl Willoughby, Galey; 14 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; 13 great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Troy Willoughby and Deloy Willoughby; a great great granddaughter; four brothers, Elza Gregory, M. H. Gregory, Bill Gregory, and John Gregory; and a sister, Ethleen Cooper.

Bearers will be Mark Baxley, David Key, Don Nickell, Ernie Bacon, Russell Willoughby, and James Cooper. Honorary bearers will be Leroy Willoughby, Junior Willoughby, Lawrence Archer, and Shaun Young.
