Services for Dennis Clifford Pender, 64, of Ada will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Center Free Will Baptist Church, his brothers-in-law, Revs. Earl Hood and Richard Hood will officiate. Burial will follow at Maxwell Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mr. Pender died Thursday, September 12, 2019 at a Norman hospital. He was born July 6, 1955 in Alamogordo, NM to William “Bill” and Sylvia Kitchen Pender. He graduated from Pauls Valley High School.

He married Ann Hood August 27, 1982. Mr. Pender was a truck driver.

Survivors include his wife, Ann, of the home; three sons, Randy Pender of Pauls Valley, Justin Pender and wife Megan of Center and Garrett Pender and wife Megan of Fittstown; one daughter, Sherry White and husband Joe of Rosedale; his mother, Sylvia Pender of Washington; mother-in-law, Geneva Hood of Center; seven grandchildren, Kelsey Duggan, J. D. White, Shaelee White, Kord Pender, Teagan Pender, Taos Pender, and Adylynn Schaeffer; two brothers, Darrell Pender and wife Kaye of Pauls Valley and Sammy Pender and wife Lisa of Purcell; one sister, Renee Bounds and husband Troy of Washington; and numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Pender; a brother, Arlen Pender; father-in-law, Tab Hood; and grandparents.

Bearers will be, Jupie Booth, Clay Young, Randy Jennings, Darrell Pender, Sammy Pender, Leon Gee and Wade Gee. Honorary bearers will be Cecil Wainscott, Jim Ross, LeDon Turpin, Billy McCurdy and the men of Center Free Will Baptist Church.
