Services for Earl McCurdy, 80, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Central Church of Christ, Bud Ross and Rev. David Gray will officiate. Burial will follow at Maxwell Cemetery. The Chickasaw Honor Guard will conduct military honors at the cemetery.

Mr. McCurdy died Thursday, September 3, 2015 at a local hospital. He was born November 23, 1934 at Galey to Emmit and Ethel Brecheen McCurdy. He graduated from Latta High School.

He married Charlene Forrester July 25, 1953. She preceded him in death April 4, 2006. Mr. Mccurdy was a self-employed truck driver for Chemical Express and he was a member of Central Church of Christ.

Mr. McCurdy served in the U. S. Air Force as a mechanic. He served in the Greenville, NC and in Alaska.

Survivors include three daughters, Kathy Lorenz and husband Freddie of Okeene, Betty Hilton and husband Bill and Sue Claborn and husband Johnny, all of Ada; six grandsons, Travis Lorenz and wife Kimberly, Todd Lorenz and wife Blanca, Billy Hilton and wife Sarah, Benji Hilton, B. J. Conaway and wife Melissa and Joshua Claborn; 13 great-grandchildren, Brittany Lorenz, Jada Lorenz, Payden Lorenz, Tiffany Lorenz, Trae Lorenz, Sabrie Lorenz, Damon Hargrove, Natalie Hilton, Olivia Hilton, Parker Hilton, Brandon Hilton Stephen Gammil, and Colton Conaway; two brothers, Vernon McCurdy, Ada and Gene McCurdy, Ada; and a sister, Joyce Hughes, Galey.

He was preceded in death by his wife, a brother, Herman McCurdy, and a grandson, Mark Lee Conaway, Jr.

Bearers will be his grandsons. Honorary bearers will be Carmen Murray, Austin Rodgers and Bob McCurdy.

The family says those who wish may make memorials to the Maxwell Cemetery, First United Bank, Ada, OK 74820.
