Graveside services for Marvine Ruth Manuel, 79, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Maxwell Cemetery, Rev. Frank Trent will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Manuel passed away Monday, February 4, 2019 at a local hospital. She was born July 21, 1939 at Seminole to Frant and Neva Harless Abbott. She attended Byng schools.

She married Sidney Manuel December 22, 1956. Mrs. Manuel was employed with Brockway Glass Company and later as a housekeeping supervisor at Valley View Regional Hospital.

Survivors include her husband, Sidney, of the home; four sons, Rick Manuel and Steve Manuel, both of Ada, Frant Manuel of Norman, and Brent Manuel and wife Sandra of Ada; three grandchildren, Monique Autry and husband Roy, Hayden Manuel and Crissy Crespin; four great-grandchildren, Ethan and Jaxon Autry, Chelsea Hendrix and Teresa Young; and a sister, Christine Simpson of Sulphur.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Curtis Abbott; a sister, Roe Hardcastle; and a granddaughter, Sydni Rheagan Manuel.

Bearers are her four sons, Rick, Steve, Frant and Brent; and Roy Autry and Hayden Manuel.
