Services for Doyle Henry Jones, Jr., 73, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at A Place of New Hope Church in Ada, Rev. Toby Willoughby will officiate. Burial will follow at Maxwell Cemetery.

Mr. Jones passed away at his grandson’s home Monday, June 15, 2020. He was born August 20, 1946 at Ada to Doyle Henry Jones and Juanita Eunice McDonald Jones. He graduated from Ada High School. He married Terry Jacqueline Raper March 23, 1967. She preceded him in death October 30, 2018. Mr. Jones served in the U. S. Navy then worked as a contract pumper in the oilfield.

Survivors include his mother, Juanita Jones, Ada; a son, Michael Jones, Ada; a brother, Darrell Jones and wife Peggy of Arkansas; two sisters, Denise Zimmerman and husband Mike, Ada and Kathy Anderson, Ada; three grandchildren, Thomas Martin and wife Lynnette, Chris Jones and wife Gabrielle and Logan Martin and wife Kortney, all of Ada; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Doyle H. Jones, Sr.; a daughter, Sheila Marie Martin; his wife, Terry Jones; and a brother, Billy Jones.

Bearers will be Justin Miller, Brandon Miller, Mason Laxton, Taylor Augustine, Jonathan Woods and Blane Burk.
