Services for Susan Diane Gillum, 53, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Kendell Martin will officiate. Burial will follow at Maxwell Cemetery.

Mrs. Gillum passed away Sunday, February 11, 2018 at her parent’s home. She was born July 18, 1964 at Wewoka to Eugene Junior “Dunnie” and Irvina Jo “Tootles” Elmore Alford. She graduated from Ada High School and attended beauty school.

She married Delbert (Wayne) Gillum May 22, 1983. Mrs. Gillum was a beautician and a substitute teacher. She had also been employed with Morris Boot Shop. Mrs. Gillum was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Diane never met a stranger. She was a selfless, caring, loving mother. Diane loved her sons, was an avid baseball mom and followed her children to all their activities. She loved to dance and lived life to the fullest.

Survivors include her husband, Wayne, of the home; three sons, Tyler Wayne Gillum of Phoenix, AZ, Thad Dean Gillum and William (Tee) Gillum, both of Ada; her mother, Tootles Alford of Ada; two brothers, Danny Keith Alford of Ada and Donnie Wayne Alford of Sasakwa; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Bearers will be Thad Gillum, Tyler Gillum, Tildon Gillum, Chris Alford, Myles Alford and Tagus Gillum. Honorary bearers will be William (Tee) Gillum and Jesse Wade Gillum.
