Services for Delbert Lee “Deb” Gillum, 86, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Revs. Kendell Martin, Darrell Phillips and Scott Gillum will officiate. Burial will follow at Maxwell Cemetery.

Mr. Gillum passed away Saturday, March 10, 2018 at his home in Galey. He was born November 27, 1931 at Allen to Perry J. and Ruby Borden Gillum. He and his family moved to California when he was four years old.

He married Christine Bailes January 31, 1953 at Fresno. He and Christine moved back to this area in 1973 from California. Deb was a Realtor and a car salesman. He served as a Deacon at the Church of God of Prophesy and had also served in the U. S. Army.

Survivors include his wife, Christine, of the home; a son, Wayne Gillum of Ada; his grandchildren, Kylee, Tildon, Tee, Tagus, Tyler, Thad, Jesse and Starla; his great-grandchildren, Paris, Paige, Kirby, George and Aubrin; and a brother, Perry Gillum.

He was preceded in death by his father, Perry J. Gillum; mother, Ruby Gillum; step-mother, Corinne Reynolds; his sons, Gary Lee Gillum and Barry Dean Gillum; and his brothers, Bill and Don; and a sister, Beverly.

Bearers will be Tildon Gillum, Tagus Gillum, Thad Gillum, Thomas Lee, George Gillum and Charles Bazzell. Honorary bearers will be Gary Faulkenberry, Darrell Carlos, Orville Jackson, Jesse Gillum and Tee Gillum.
