Memorial services will be held at a later date for Darling Machelle Epperly, 51, of Ada.
Mrs. Epperly died Monday, February 20, 2012 at her home in the Happyland community. She was born January 30, 1961 in Ada, Oklahoma to George L. and Martha Cox Love. She attended Vanoss and Latta grade school and graduated from Byng High School in 1979.
She married Rick Epperly on June 13, 1988 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Mrs. Epperly was the Director of Call-A-Ride Public Transit. She had been employed with Call-A-Ride Public Transit since December 1999, starting as a driver and later becoming the Director of Call-A-Ride.
Survivors include her husband, Rick Epperly, of the home; a son, Brandon Lackey and his wife Devin of Ada, and their children, Abby and Erin, and a son and daughter-in-law, Jeff Epperly and Morgan Paige Clifford, of Ada; a step-daughter, Tiffany Vandewalker and her children, Ashton Yenei and Wyatt Vandewalker, a step-daughter, Tabitha Prewett and her children, Damion Hardcastle and Rayden Prewett; Machelle’s parents, George and Martha Love of Ada; a brother, Kevin Love of Ada; a nephew, Sage Love of Ada; her uncle and aunt, Wayne and Helen Bradley of Ada; cousins, Walter and Amanda Jack and family of Ardmore and Angela Stogsdill and family of Oklahoma City; and her mother-in-law, JoAnn Epperly of Ada.
The family says those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Rick and Machelle Epperly Relief Fund, c/o Citizens Bank, 123 W. 12th, Ada, OK 74820.
