Services for Connie Sue Choate, 69, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Joel Rutledge will officiate. Burial will follow at Maxwell Cemetery.

Mrs. Choate passed away Friday, January 5, 2018 at her home. She was born June 21, 1948 at Guthrie to Marvin Jack (Pops) and Phyllis Collien Powers Brakebill. She graduated from East Central University and was had worked for Oklahoma Families First as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor.

She married Louis Loyal Choate September 20, 1970. He preceded her in death April 20, 2008.

Survivors include a son, Tommy Choate of Ada; four grandchildren, Rose Lee Mills and husband Archie (A.J.) of Moore, Cory Scott Choate and Zachary Collin Choate and his wife Victoria, all of Oklahoma City and Josh Harrel son and wife Cindy; five great grandchildren, Andromeda, Peytan, Tristain, Prycen and Rylanlee; three brothers, Mike Brakebill, Oil Center, Phillip Mayfield, Wisconsin and Terry Mayfield of Oil Center; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Bearers will be A. J. Moore, Cory Scott Choate, Zachary Collin Choate, Josh Harrelson, Nick Brakebill and J. D. Brakebill.
