Services for Albert Claud Blackwell, 79, of Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Oil Center Pentecostal Holiness Church, Rev. Lucas Cane and Jake Hawley. Burial will follow at Maxwell Cemetery.
Mr. Blackwell died Sunday, December 3, 2017 at an Oklahoma City hospital. He was born October 27, 1938 in Comanche, OK to Albert Blackwell and Ruie Rebecca Marie Williams Blackwell. He came to this area in 1974 from Tulsa.
He married Juanita Moore on November 7, 1959. She preceded him in death in 2006. Mr. Blackwell received a degree from Cameron University. He was a retired insurance adjustor for Farmers Insurance Co.
Survivors include one daughter, Pam Stone and husband Jimmy of Oil Center; one son, Kevin Blackwell and wife Julie of Collinsville; seven grandchildren, Matt Stone and wife Amanda, Heath Stone and wife Kristy, Micah Stone, Krischelle Blackwell, Dylan Blackwell and Diane, Luke Dobbs and wife Kim, and Makayla Norman and husband Sam; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Boston, and Virginia Fuller; and one brother Tom Blackwell.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Philip Blackwell; two sisters, Pauline Wiseman and Patricia Blackwell; three brothers, Bert Brown, Earl Blackwell, and Jesse Blackwell.
Bearers will be Matt Stone, Heath Stone, Luke Dobbs, Dylan Blackwell, Jayson Slate, and Gus Martinez.
