Services for Opal Virginia Beebe, 91, of Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Steve Wilburn will officiate. Burial will follow at Maxwell Cemetery.

Mrs. Beebe died Sunday, March 17, 2013 at a local nursing home. She was born June 24, 1921 at Maxwell, Oklahoma to William A. and Rhoda Barnett Berry. She attended Maxwell grade school and graduated from Vanoss High School.

She married Willie Arvo Bingham on July 4, 1941. He preceded her in death in 1973. She later married Floyd Beebe on June 25, 1976. He preceded her in death on December 1, 1990. Mrs. Beebe was a bookkeeper for Dillon’s Department Store in Ada until the closing of the store. She was a seamstress and loved cooking for her family and neighbors. Mrs. Beebe was an avid gardener.

Survivors include her daughters, Charlotte Dyer and her husband Jerry of Ada, Margaret Reed and her husband Don of Tom Bean, TX, and Rhoda Coakley and her husband Tim of Roswell, NM; a sister, Ollie Gurley of Pawhuska; her grandchildren, Debbie Tucker and her husband Randy, Glenn David Dyer, Robert N. Stevens, Roger Reed and Jeannie Goodloe; four great grandchildren, Cody Ross Tucker, Lynda Carol Victoria, Bru Jack James, Victoria and Charlotte Reneé Goodloe; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; two sisters; and three brothers.
