Services for Leroy G. Bailes, 83, Ada, are 10 a.m. Thursday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Steve Gardner officiating. Burial follows at Maxwell Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mr. Bailes died Oct. 21, 2006, at his home. He was born Jan. 30, 1923, in the Oil Center Community, northwest of Ada, to Columbus Lee and Rose Spurlock Bailes. He attended grade school at Worstell and attended Vanoss High School.

Mr. Bailes was in the trucking business for many years, and he served in the U. S. Army during World War II.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Yarbrough in 2004.

Survivors include Winnie Tilley Bailes, Riverside, Calif.; four daughters, Sharon Patke, Chino, Calif., Judy Carder, Ada, Norma Tosten, Fontana, Calif., and LaDonna Kelly, Rogue River, Ore.; two sisters, Joyce Isaacs and Christine Gillum, both of Galey; a brother, Doug Bailes, Galey; eight grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Bearers are Larry Carder, Mike Carder, Todd Carder, Branden Carder, Doug Bailes and A. J. Tosten.
