Graveside memorial services for Peggy Lou Britt, 76, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 20, 2020 at the Lula Cemetery.

Ms. Britt passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at a Durant hospital. She was born March 3, 1944 at Lula, Oklahoma to Ben and Edna Cross Johnston. She graduated from Tupelo High School.

Ms. Britt worked as a secretary for Evergreen Mills, retiring after 20 years of service. Later, she was employed with the Chickasaw Nation.

Survivors include a daughter, Robin Sampson and husband Jimmy, El Paso, TX; son, DeWayne Campbell, Ada; four grandchildren, Rusti Barnes and husband Matt, Randi Estes and husband Caleb, Ryane Vines and husband Mark, and grandson, Mason Campbell, all of Ada; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dora Lee Hicks, Merced, CA and Vera Brend and husband Edward, Lula; her brother-in-law, John Davis, Lula; a brother, Davey Johnston and wife Liz, Ada; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Bob Johnston, Sam Johnston and Danny Ray Johnston; and her sisters, Molly A. Davis, Betty Jo Johnston and Elwanda Johnston.
