Services for James Reece McCann, 90, of Lavaca, Arkansas, are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Lightning Ridge Baptist Church, Scott O’Hare will officiate. Burial will follow at Lightning Ridge Cemetery. A viewing will be held before the service from 9:00 a.m. – 9:45 a.m. at the church.

Mr. McCann passed away Friday, February 4, 2022 in Arkansas. He was born December 6, 1931 in Sparta, North Carolina to Reece and Curley Moxley McCann.

Mr. McCann served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He later worked for James Julian Construction as a heavy equipment operator. He was married to June Hunt.

Survivors are his wife, June; two sons, Scott O’Hare and Glenn Hunt; five daughters, Jamie McCann, Carla Meyer, Donna Moore, Jacklyn Hollenbaugh and Tonya Johnson; one sister, Ailene Henson; nieces and nephews, Jack Henson and wife Sharon, Peggy Brown, Connie Brown and husband Dennis and Mark Henson and wife Alisha; 16 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
