Services for Jerry Michael “Mike” Creel, 67, of Ada are 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 18, 2024 at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel; Cary Gerth will officiate. Burial will follow at Lightning Ridge Cemetery.
Mr. Creel passed away Sunday, October 13, 2024 at his home. He was born June 12, 1957, in Ada to Jerry and Phyllis Stewart Creel Agee.
He graduated from Latta High School in 1975 and joined the United States Navy where he served for 12 years as Gunner’s Mate Technician. His last three years, he taught Gunner’s Mate Technician School. He owned and operated Latta Grocery for a few years after being discharged from the Navy.
He loved riding horses and participating in horse shows. He also enjoyed rodeos, fishing, hunting, and raising cattle and goats.
Survivors include his mother, Phyllis Stewart Agee; father, Jerry Creel; son, Christopher Creel and wife, Maddie; and four grandchildren, Dawson Tittle, Mason Creel, Josslynn Creel, and Joey Creel.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Diane Creel and son, Joshua Michael Creel.
Bearers are John Horn, Steve Vance, Chris Creel, Dawson Tittle, Mason Creel, and Joey Creel.
