Graveside services for Jimmy Lee “Jim” Barnes, 66, of Roff are 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at East Hill Cemetery, Dr. Travis Muse will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mr. Barnes passed away Saturday, August 8, 2020 at an Oklahoma City hospice house. He was born March 11, 1954 at Ada to Richard and Phyllis Campbell Barnes. He graduated from Roff High School.

He married Debbie McWethy June 9, 1996 at Allen. Mr. Barnes was employed with the Chickasaw Nation in the facility maintenance department. Jim was a singer and songwriter who enjoyed staying busy. He was a builder, a renovator and a talented craftsman, working many years at Tinker Air Force Base where he painted military aircraft including Air Force One.

Survivors include his wife, Debbie of the home; his sons, Travis Stanberry and wife Kristi, Ada, Troy Stanberry and wife Misty, Moore and Trent Stanberry and wife Destiny, Kingston; his grandchildren, Claire Stanberry, Ian Stanberry and Abigail Stanberry, all of Ada; Brooklyn Stanberry, Breeli Stanberry, and Grady Stanberry, all of Moore; Blakelynn Stanberry, Autumn Stanberry, Serenity Stanberry, Lylah Stanberry and Emberly Stanberry, all of Kingston.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Terry Barnes; and a son, Travis Barnes.
