Services for Barbara Ann Carpenter, 70, of Tulsa, formerly of Francis and Allen, are 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Hazel Wallace will officiate. Burial will follow at Kilcrease Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Ms. Carpenter passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at a Tulsa hospital. She was born January 6, 1947 east of Francis to Houston and Martha Punluste Stick. She attended Francis grade school and graduated from Allen High School.
Ms. Carpenter was a restaurant and service worker.
Survivors include a son, Kevin Carpenter and his wife Staci of Tulsa; six grandchildren, Christopher Frederic, Kaden Carpenter, Elizabeth Haws, Laura Haws, Lauren Carpenter and Robert Fields; four great-grandchildren, Evan, Faith, Seth and Emily Fields; and two sisters, Velma Frazier of Allen and Virgie Frazie of Ada.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three children, Carla Ann Fields, Elizabeth Jo Carpenter and Matthew “Dewey” Carpenter; two sisters, Martha “Buck” Hawkins and Semmie “Bush” Stick; two brothers, Houston “Sonny” Stick, Jr. and Bill Stick; and a nephew, Roger “T-Bone” Stick.
Bearers will be Daniel Frazier, William Stick, George Frazier, Gabriel Frazier, Terry Stick and Chris Vann. Honorary bearers will be Ronald Frazier, Mark Frazier and Fred Brown.
