Services for Mildred Aline Wood, 88, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Stonewall First Baptist Church, Rev. Richard Dickerson will officiate. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery.

Mrs. Wood passed away Monday, November 9, 2015 at an Ada nursing home. She was born November 21, 1926 at Clarita to Jake Bryant and Martha Caroline Perry Thompson.

She married L. L. “Jack” Wood December 23, 1944 at Jesse. He preceded her in death December 16, 2008. Mrs. Wood was a homemaker and a longtime member of Stonewall First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her four children, Winford Wood and wife Darlene of Stonewall, Marilyn Wiles and her husband Dean of Tishomingo, Angelia Marion and her husband Willie of Stonewall and Rita Poshard and her husband Jeff of Lawton; her grandchildren, Terry Wood and wife Kimberly, Rachael Yates and husband Lance, Sabrina Scroggins and husband Doug ,Melanie Huston and husband Jon, Jonathan Wiles and wife Cathy, Hollie Brown and husband Wes, Brandon Marion and wife Rebecca, Michael Marion, Ashleigh Hunter and husband Chris, and Amberlee Middleton and Jacob Angiel.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her son, Eddie Lee Wood; and brothers and sisters, John, Myrtle, J. B., G. L., George, Ernest, W. B. and Effie.

Bearers will be Connor Yates, Wes Brown, Jacob Angiel, Chris Hunter, Jon Huston and Tristan Wood. Honorary bearers will be her grandsons.
