Graveside Services for Curtis Dale Whittington, 74, of Stonewall are 1:00 p.m. Monday at the Highland Cemetery in Stonewall, Rev. Kenny Morrison will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Sunday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mr. Whittington passed away Thursday, September 26, 2019 at an Ada assisted living center. He was born July 13, 1945 at Ada to Winford W. and Bessie Elam Whittington. He attended Stonewall schools and graduated from Stonewall High School in 1963.

He and Marsha were married June 9, 1989. Mr. Whittington was the owner and operator of Curt’s Well Service and a cattle rancher until his retirement. He was a member of the Bright Star Lodge #113 AF & AM in Stonewall.

Survivors include his wife, Marsha, of the home; two sons, Sherman Whittington and Wayne Whittington; a step-son, Chris Harrison and wife Kimberly; a step-daughter, Rachel Ogles; three sisters, Melba Wilson, Sybal Prince, and Carolyn Selby; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Curtis had lots of nieces, nephews and cousins he loved dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Donald, Huck and Chink Whittington; and sisters, Jewel Adams, Billie Mae Kellogg, Mary Whittington, Bernice Sanders and Patty Sanders.
