Services for Steven “Chip” Tackett, 44, are 10 a.m. Tuesday at Stonewell First Baptist, Rev. Reno Dye will officiate. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery at Stonewall.
Mr. Tackett passed away Friday, August 9, 2019 as the result of an auto accident. He was born September 13, 1974 in Ada, OK to Yvonne Madron and Carl Ray Tackett. He graduated from McLish High School, and went to OSU Tech Okmulgee.
He married Lakrisha Elaine Bolding on August 14, 1998 in Stonewall, Oklahoma. He was an electrician at Ramsey Ward Electric in Ardmore. He also formerly served in the National Guard.
Survivors include his wife, Lakrisha, of the home, one son, Kylar Tackett, and one daughter, Kolby Tackett, both of the home; parents, Carl and Yvonne Tackett, Fittstown; sister, Carla Deaton and her husband, Mike, Alex; brother, Kevin Tackett and wife Brittney, Fittstown; nieces, Kelsey Murphy and husband Ira, Norman; Paige Collins and husband, Jeremy, Wichita, Kansas; Laney Deaton, Ada; Cheyenne Tackett, Fittstown; and Alexandra Benge, Ada; nephews, Andru Tackett, Ada; Kasen Deaton, Alex; and Jackson Tackett, Fittstown; and many other relatives.
Bearers are Kylar Tackett, Kevin Tackett, Jackson Tackett, Andru Tackett, Ian Pittman, Cory Prince, Skeeter Thompson and Tom Winters. Honorary bearers will be Bodie Thompson, Topper Duncan, Tim Winters, Mike Deaton and Kasen Deaton.
