Services for Arthur Howard Ryles, 75, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Trinity Baptist Church, Rev. David Gray will officiate. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mr. Ryles died Saturday, March 19, 2016 at a local hospital. He was born to Oliver Cleve and Edith Marie Miller Ryles. He graduated from Wewoka High School.

He married Patricia LaVoyce Thompson on June 5, 1986 in Denison, Texas. Mr. Ryles retired as the Services Manager for Bowie Ballard & Ada Ford after 45 years. He previously worked for Ada Auto and a parts store in Wewoka. He was an avid golfer, owned a stock car, loved his family dearly and was well known for his sense of humor and practical jokes. Mr. Ryles never met a stranger or stray dog.

Survivors include his wife Pat of the home; five children, Lea Ann Jackson and husband Craig of Luther, OK, Rick Kelley and wife Jalinda of Ada, Bryant Todd Kelley and wife Janna of Ada, Jay Howard Ryles and wife Rhonda of Conway, AR and Tonja Brundidge and husband Michael of Ada; nine grandchildren, Brad Allen Jackson, Chelsie Lynn Hoard, Stephen Dewayne Kelley, Zachary Ryles, Joshua Ryles, Annaliese Ryles, Jayson Ryles, Courtney Danielle Brundidge and Briley Faith Brundidge and one brother, Mike Ryles and wife Cindy of Irving, TX.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Oliver Cleve Ryles, Jr. and Jim Johnson.

Bearers will be Chad Ballard, Jim Ward, Keith Bonner, Sandy Schutte, Brian Chaney and John Chaney.
