Services for Bonnie Jewell Steele-Ringwald, 82, of Stonewall are 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Shawn Wiebers will officiate. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Ringwald passed away Monday, February 19, 2018 at her home. She was born March 14, 1935 at Big Cabin, OK to Leland and Jewell Trickey Beavers. She attended Long View (Craig County) grade school and graduated from Big Cabin High School. She attended Lelas Beauty College and the Pontotoc County Vo-Tech.
She married Bill Steele August 19, 1955 in Ada. He preceded her in death February 6, 1987. She later married Billy Ringwald June 24, 1989 at Stonewall. Mrs. Ringwald was a beautician and a seamstress at Wrangler Co. She was a member of Crosspointe Church, where she taught Sunday School, volunteered with the clothing ministry and worked at many church dinners. Mrs. Ringwald taught Blue Birds, Camp Fire Girls and Boy Scouts.
Bonnie loved to cook and serve others. She loved all her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her weekly highlight was going to Marys Beauty Shop. She loved picnics and seeing the country on trips with Billy. She loved her church family and the Lord.
Survivors include her husband Billy, of the home; a daughter, Deborah Wise of Stonewall; son, Bill Steele and wife Alyene of Stonewall; a step-son, David Ringwald of Ponca City; nine grandchildren, Megan Loudermilk, Monica Wise, Josh and Tiffany Steele, all of Stonewall, Mark and Abranda Masoner of Ada, Addyson Steele, Stonewall, Chad Whittington, Stonewall, Jared Adler, Jordan Adler and Olivia Adler, all of Stillwater; eight great-grandchildren, Jacob Nowlin, Kaylee Nowlin, Gage Loudermilk, Braelyn Masoner, Laeni Masoner, Denver Masoner, Kelsee Bradley, and Kaylee Miller; a sister, Betty Meeks and husband Loyd of McAlester; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her late husband, Bill Steele; two sisters, Regina Herbert and Edith Miller; one brother, Lee Beavers; and a step-daughter, Patti Ann Adler.
Bearers will be Chris Meeks, Mark Masoner, James Whitson, Gage Loudermilk, Jacob Nowlin and Jerry Steele.
