Services for Bobby Dan Pickens, 54, of Stonewall are2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery at Stonewall. A Wake Service will be held 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mr. Pickens passed away Thursday, February 4, 2016 at an Oklahoma City hospital. He was born April 16, 1961 in Talihina to Billy Gene and Naomi Faye Greenwood Pickens. He attended Latta grade school and Stonewall and Tupelo high schools.
He married Tammy Wanette Riddles. She preceded him in death in 2011. Mr. Pickens was a roughneck in the oilfield industry until his retirement. He was also a bull rider and participated in many rodeos.
Survivors include two daughters, Felisha Holman of Little Axe and Alisha Pickens of Oklahoma City; a son, Dalton Dakota Dan Pickens of Duncan; his father, Billy Gene Pickens of Stonewall; four sisters, Patty Pickens of Stonewall, Sandra Kay Johns of Pontotoc, Nancy Lewis of Oklahoma City and Billie Jo Simpson of Shawnee; a brother, Billy Gene Pickens, Jr. of Ada; step-brother, Michael Wayne Story of Holdenville; two step-sisters, Judy Cloud of Ada and Rolanda Hamilton of Stonewall; and five grandchildren, Landon Gutierrez, Peyton Gutierrez, Tammy Gutierrez, Sutton Gutierrez and Dillon Pickens; and several nieces and nephews, Anthony Lewis, Jr. Bufford, Zac Lewis, Mateo Tater Gutierrez, Angel Honest Gutierrez and Gloria Jean Gutierrez.
Bearers will be William Griffith, Lloyd Burk, Don Bray, Jr., Warren Riddles, Scotty Gibson and Jayden Morse.
