Services for Valine Miller, 90, of Edmond, formerly of Stonewall are 1:00 p.m. Saturday, at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Chaplain Briann Maidens DeMoss will officiate. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery.

Mrs. Miller passed away Monday, March 2, 2020 at her daughter’s home in Edmond. She was born February 14, 1930 at Jesse to Rayford David and Katie Murphy May. She attended Jesse grade school and graduated from Stonewall High School.

She married Ray Frank Miller August 10, 1948 in Richmond, CA. He preceded her in death May 28, 1999. She and her husband, Ray, had lived on their beloved farm in the Pleasant Hill area for 65 years. Valine was a homemaker, an accomplished seamstress, quilter and avid family genealogist. She was of the Southern Baptist faith.

Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Ann Hawkins and her husband Gaylon of Edmond; a son, Chad R. Miller of Edmond; four grandchildren, Tyler Hawkins and wife Kelly and Chase Hawkins and wife Liz, all of Edmond, Ciera Knapp and husband Mark, Noble and Corin Miller, Mountain View, OK; and four great-grandchildren, Alex, Brody, River and Adley Hawkins, all of Edmond.

Bearers will be Tyler Hawkins, Chase Hawkins, Mark Knapp, Brody Hawkins, Gary Weathers and Roy Elmore. Honorary bearers will be Alex and River Hawkins.

The family would like to thank the wonderful care-givers at Humanity Hospice. Their love and care was greatly appreciated.
