Services for Sarah Adean Mathis, 67, of Wapanucka are 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the Christ Independent Baptist Church in Milburn, Rev. Earl White will officiate. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery at Stonewall. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Ms. Mathis passed away Thursday, September 26, 2019 at Panama Beach, Florida. She was born November 1, 1951 at Durant to Bertice Marion and Mary Marie Isenberg Willis. She graduated from Ada High School and received a Bachelor’s Degree from East Central University. She earned a Paralegal Certificate from University of Oklahoma.

Adean was a paralegal for Smith, Shew and Scrivner Law Office in Ada.

Survivors include three sisters, Ruby Seamster, Ada, Ima Jean Winton and husband Tony, Stonewall and Ann Willis, Ada; two brothers, Neal Willis and Danny Willis and wife Debbie, all of Dumas, TX; her fiancé, Bob Pierce, Edmond; and several nieces, nephews and other relative and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Bearers will be Leyton Winton, Landon Winton, Greg Willis, D. R. Willis, Tanner Winton and Earl White.
