Dewey Wayne Madden, 77, of Stonewall, passed away on February 18, 2025, in Ada, Oklahoma.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at the First Baptist Church in Stonewall, with Rev. Richard Dickerson officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery.

Dewey was born on November 2, 1947, in Ada to Edgar and Mildred Gerloff Madden. He graduated from Stonewall High School in 1965 and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Dewey was known for his craftsmanship, building cabinets and custom furniture until his retirement.,br>
On November 8, 1996, he married Janna Bloxham, and together they built a loving life. Dewey is survived by his wife, Janna, of the home; step-son, Michael Humphrey of Tulsa; daughters, Brandy Fortner (Scott) of Ada, and Buffy Wood (Matt) of Ada; special friends, Lori Roundtree, Brooklyn Roundtree, and Brittany Roundtree; brothers, Dwain Madden (Carol) of Ada and David Madden (Sue) of Ada; six grandchildren, Brandon Fortner (Marissa), Teighlor West (Dylan), Whitey Fortner (Brooklyn), Sydnee Fortner, Dylan Wood, and Bryce Wood; and five great-grandchildren, Calvin Fortner, Reese Fortner, Audrey Fortner, Shepherd Fortner, and Ian Fortner. He was preceded in death by his parents and nephew, Brian Madden.

Bearers are Scott Fortner, Matt Wood, Brandon Fortner, Whitey Fortner, Robbie Black, Greg Davis, and Chris Roundtree. Honorary bearers are Don Sexton, Joe Davis, Jimmy Galbreath, Richard Medcalf, Brad Gipson, and Ron Gwinn.

Dewey will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. His legacy of love, service, and craftsmanship will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
