Services for Bobby E. Hatton, 60, of Stonewall are 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Stonewall First Baptist Church, Rev. Richard Dickerson will officiate. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery, Stonewall. The Tulsa County Sheriff’s Department Honor Guard will provide honors. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Bobby E. Hatton peacefully passed away March 31st at his home in Stonewall. Bobby was the beloved husband and best friend of his one and only love of 37 years, Shelley.

Bobby had a love for hunting, fishing and trapping. He enjoyed riding horses and most weekends he was on the trail with family and friends if the hay field wasn’t calling. He loved the country life!

He was a creative cook and was ready to fire up the smoker at a moment’s notice. He would hook up the smoker and hit the road to the bunk house, where family and friends gathered often.

Bobby enjoyed being a public servant to the citizens of Coal County and the State of Oklahoma while serving as Deputy and Under-Sheriff for Coal County and Wildlife Specialist of the Dept. of Agriculture/Wildlife services.

During his many years of service, friends were made and lives were impacted by Bobby’s devoted work ethic and desire to help others.

Bobby was a loving and devoted family man, raising three daughters and a son with Shelley.

Bobby was born August 13, 1957 to Eldon and Lou Hatton in Ada, OK.

Survivors include his loving wife, Shelley A. Hatton, of the home; three daughters, Lannette Hatton, Waco, TX; Linda Hatton, Ringling, OK; Bobbi Leigh and husband Mark Tollefson, Stonewall; son, Kaleb Hatton, of the home; mother, Lou Wainscott Hatton, Ada; sister, Linda Byrd, Stonewall; nephew, Dillon Byrd and wife Julia, Ada; Father-in-law and mother-in-law, Leon and Charlotte Pirtle, Iola, TX; brother-in-law, Chuck Pirtle, Frederick, OK; sisters-in-law, Sharonda Pirtle, Moore, OK and Sharia Stabler and husband Stacey, Iola, TX; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Eldon Hatton; and his brother-in-law, Mike Byrd.

Pall bearers will be Phillip Henry, Jeb Bailey, Jeremiah Golden, Rick Menefee (Ricky Bob), Steven Flowers and Nick Davis. Honorary pallbearers are Alan Fortner, Mark Benedict, Chuck Lancaster, Heath Miller, Chat Henry and Chisum Henry.

Bobby, we will hold you in our hearts until we can hold you in Heaven.
