Services for Jo Delia Foster, 92, formerly of Ada, will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 7, 2022 at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, B. J. Albright and Van Newton will officiate. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery. A Visitation will be held on Saturday and Sunday, February 5th and 6th, at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Foster died Sunday, January 30, 2022 at a Durant nursing home. She was born July 9, 1929 at Milburn to Arthur and Mary Elizabeth Smith Alcorn.

Mrs. Foster was a homemaker. She married John Foster, Sr. on August 31, 1953, and John passed away July 27, 2000, after almost 48 years of marriage.

She is survived by two sons, John Edward Foster, Jr. and wife Shirley Ann, and Michael Wayne Foster; two sisters, Mary Annie Buchanan and Rosie Lee Newton; daughter-in-law, Peggy Foster; four grandchildren, Arthur Foster, Crystal Foster, Joni Leann Foster and Maria Griffith; four great-grandchildren, Treyvin Lee Foster, Gauge Bell Foster, Lathan Foster and Landon Foster; and many nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Edward Foster; daughter, Julie Foster; one son, Arthur Foster; sister, Archie Dean Grissom; and three brothers, Lindell E. Alcorn, Thomas Wayne Alcorn and Billy A. Alcorn.
