Debbie was born 2/8/48 in Long Beach, California to George Franklin and Juanita Helen Beck. She passed away on October 29, 2021, in Oklahoma City.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years Kenneth Evans. Four daughters: Shannon Wagnon and Brian Flatt of Stonewall, Tisha and Kevin Dillinger of Moore, Traci and Zack Jones of Bixby, and Jennifer Evans of Stonewall. Two sisters: Sandra Morbitzer and Terry Mullicane. She had eight grandchildren: Tristan Wagnon, Samantha Sims, Jalyn Evans, Logan Jones, Carter Jones, Riley Cranford, Koty Dillinger and Kyle Dillinger. Two great grandchildren: Colin and Mason Mendoza.
Debbie began her nursing career in 1980 working at both the old and new Valley View Hospitals before finishing her nursing career with the Chickasaw Nation in 2011. She was a wonderful nurse by all accounts and a caring, compassionate, and true patient advocate.
She was a complex woman and loving, caring, compassionate, loud, opinionated, funny, sarcastic, and direct. There was never a doubt of where you stood with her or her thoughts or opinions on any subject. She loved to read and play computer games and watch movies.
She was a wife, mom and Nana to her family and a second mom and Nana to many others. We all loved her fiercely.
These last couple of years took their toll on her as she dealt with many health issues and that robbed her any future time with her family and loved ones.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Juanita ‘Helen’ and father George ‘Lucky’ Beck, infant twin sons Dwayne and Douglas Evans and grandson Nicholas Sims.
Pallbearers will be Brian Flatt, Zack Jones, Kevin Dillinger, Logan Jones and Tristan Wagnon.
