Graveside services for Grant Edwin Ellis, 67, of Stonewall, are 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Highland Cemetery, Rev. Randall Christy will officiate.

Mr. Ellis died Sunday, April 12, 2020 at a Tulsa hospital. He was born May 13, 1952 in Stonewall. His parents were Jerry Clyde and Juanita Elizabeth (Foreman) Anderson. He graduated from Stonewall High School.

He married Darlene Louise Whitaker on December 21, 1971 in Seminole. He was a District Manager for Oklahoma Corporation Commission, worked in oil and gas industry all his life, and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Darlene Ellis, Stonewall; two sons, Jerry Ellis and wife Angela, Stonewall and Cody Ellis and wife Monica, Ada; three grandchildren, Kirby and Luke Ellis, Stonewall and Connor Ellis, Ada; two sisters, Janet Truitt and husband Richard, Stonewall and Jennie Crawford and husband Jackie, Stonewall; two brothers-in-law, Pat Daniel, Stonewall and Jay Whitaker and wife Mary, Mill Creek; four nieces, Trula Churchill and husband Linn, Valentine, NE, Elizabeth Wartchow and husband Mark, son Riley and daughter Makenzie, Roff, Revelle Felkins and husband Boot, Fitzhugh, Stephanie Wright and husband David, sons, Trenton, Parker and Zachary, Stonewall; two nephews, Leroy Daniel and wife Lisa, daughters, Delaney and Leslie, Stonewall and Jimmie Truitt, Wichita Falls, TX.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Beverley Daniel and Anne Miller and husband Ronnie.

**Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, only 10 people may gather at the graveside, per the Governor’s Order.
