A funeral service for Charles Wayne “Beaver” Clark, 58, of Stonewall, will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, January 31, 2025, at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Heath Sapp will officiate, with burial to follow at Highland Cemetery in Stonewall.

Charles passed away peacefully on January 29, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born on September 26, 1966, in Portsmouth, Virginia, to Charles Taylor and Cindy Dunn Clark.

Charles is survived by his two sons, Paul Johnson of Stratford and Alex Clark of Ada; daughter, Katie Akerman and husband Jacob of Konawa; two brothers, Woody Clark of Stonewall and Joe Paul Johnson and wife Jeanette of Suffolk, VA; two sisters, Jot Scribner of Copperas Cove, TX, and Kitty Plett of Liberal, KS; three grandchildren, Abigail Akerman, Brodie Akerman, and Paizleigh Johnson; as well as many other loving relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Russell Johnson, and his son, Cody Johnson.

Pallbearers will be Paul Johnson, Woody Clark, Joe Paul Johnson, Jacob Akerman, Ray Whittington, and Johnny Flowers. Honorary pallbearers are Brodie Akerman and Mikie Brown.

Charles never met a stranger and accepted everyone as they were, no matter what walk of life they were in. He loved to have a good time and rarely let life get him down. He loved his grandkids and making phone calls to all of his friends.

Charles will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
