Services for Ruby Nadine “Tiny” Childress, 91, of Ada are 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery near Stonewall. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Childress died Saturday, April 25, 2015 at an assisted living center in Ada. She was born January 26, 1924 in Duncan to William and Alice Brown Martin. She graduated from Comanche High School and attended LPN school in Ada.

She married Jack G. Childress on October 1, 1942. He preceded her in death May 29, 1992. Mr. and Mrs. Childress moved to Ada in 1960 from Lawton. She was a licensed practical nurse at Valley View Regional Hospital in Ada and also at other hospitals until her retirement.

Survivors include her children, Alicia and Bill May, Martin and Jan Childress, George Childress and Michael and Lisa Childress; her grandchildren, Misty Hudnall, Jon and Nasim May, Sean Childress and Tish Raney, Marc and Amy May , Daniel and Sonja Childress, Russell and Stephanie Childress, Serena Childress, Daryl and Evan Reininger, and Jared Reininger; many great-grandchildren; and two nieces, Sherry and Archie Gregory and Nancy and Tommy Curl.

Bearers will be her grandsons: Jon May, Sean Childress, Marc May, Daniel Childress and Russell Childress and Tanner Hudnall.
