Services for Carolyn Jo Eaves Blue, 73, of Oklahoma City and formerly of Ada took place Sunday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. Jody Ardrey and Cody Ardrey officiated. Burial will be at a later date at Highland Cemetery, Stonewall.
Mrs. Blue died Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at OU Medical Center.
She was born April 2, 1942, in Bentley to Joe and Louise Langley Eaves. She attended Byng Schools.
She married Marvin Blue on December 31, 1988. Mrs. Blue was a homemaker and was employed for a short time with the Oklahoma Tax Commission.
Survivors include her husband, Marvin Blue of the home; one daughter, Brenda Moad and husband Frank of Antlers; one son, Joey Ardrey and wife Bobbi of Ada; one stepson, Dale Blue and wife Kim of Houston, Texas; 10 grandchildren, Kendall Swinney and wife Tanya of Shawnee, Casey Johnson of Shawnee, Douglas H. Swinney and wife Heather of Gracemont, Shannon Bollenbach and husband Bailey of Kingfisher, Jody Ardrey and wife Cindy of Ada, Cody Ardrey and wife Asleigh of Ada, Maegan Blue, Madelyn Blue, Chase Cowan and wife Roxanne of Edna, Texas, and Traci Cowan; 17 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one stepson, John Goodgion; and one stepdaughter, Nikki Cowan.
Bearers will be Kendall Swinney, Douglas Swinney, Corbin Swinney, Lanny Eaves, Russell Eaves and Larry Blue.
