Services for Wanda Rebecca Benton, 74, of Stonewall are 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 6th at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Arvy Howell will officiate. Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Monday at Highland Cemetery at Stonewall.

Mrs. Benton passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at a Eufaula nursing home. She was born August 25, 1944 at the Owl Creek Community near Stonewall to Chester Arthur and Rebecca Letha Flowers Williamson. She attended Stonewall schools and graduated from Stonewall High School.

She married Jerome Benton January 31, 1975. He preceded her in death March 6, 2001. Mrs. Benton was a homemaker.

Survivors include a special friend and companion, Larry George; a brother, Chester Williamson, Jr. and wife Phyllis; two sisters-in-law, Sandy Williamson and Pat Benton Greenwood>; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Billy Ray Williamson and Gene Williamson.

Bearers will be Rusty Williamson, Randy Williamson, Chad Burns and Lane Boissenin.
