Services for Gloria Jean Wilmoth, 70, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Friday at the High Hill Baptist Church, Rev. Larry Hawkins will officiate. Burial will follow at High Hill Cemetery. A wake service will be 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel.
Mrs. Wilmoth died Sunday, October 25, 2015 at a local hospital. She was born January 25, 1945 in Ada to Arch McCannon and Bertha Ann Lewis Pettigrew. She attended East Central University for two years.
She married Jerry Don Wilmoth August 20, 1962 in Ada. He preceded her in death June 2, 2009. Mrs. Wilmoth was a Licensed Practical Nurse at Valley View Regional Hospital and also Carl Albert Indian Hospital. Later, she was an LPN for the Konawa New Horizons. She was a member of High Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Monica Wilmoth and husband, Joshua Nickson of Ada and Kristi Wilmoth and husband, Anthony McCoy of Ada; a son, Brown Wilmoth of Ada; six grandchildren, John Wilmoth and wife Sara, Zack Wilmoth and wife Brianne, Tyler Wilmoth and wife Stefani, Amaia Lewis, Kylie Wilmoth - Jeffers and Laniah McCoy; six great-grandchildren, Alexis, Nataya, Haven, Trimaine, Ayellah and Kory; three brothers, Wendall Pettigrew and wife Vicky, Ada, Jack Pettigrew, Ada and Leland Pettigrew and wife Ina, Ada; three sisters, Shirley Laughlin, Oklahoma City, Terry Davis, Ada and Connie Martin and husband Wayne, Blanchard.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three brothers, James Pettigrew, Weldon Pettigrew and Oscar Pettigrew; three sisters, Vera Pettigrew, Viola Garrett and Marie Titsworth; a nephew, John Young; and a sister-in-law, Sue Pettigrew.
Bearers will be Jacky Pettigrew, Dustin Hood, Michael Sparks, Tony Jeffers; Randy Urnst, and Todd Young. Honorary bearers will be her nephews and her grandchildren.
