Services for Clemantine Lorene Vines, 89, of Allen are 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel in Ada. Burial will follow at High Hill Cemetery near Ada.
Mrs. Vines passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at an Ada nursing home. She was born July 20, 1926 in Stigler to Albert and Ora Qualls Daniels. She attended Mt. Home schools and graduated from Mt. Home High School.
She married Rev. Jack R. Vines July 3, 1946. He preceded her in death February 7, 2008 in Ada. Mr. and Mrs. Vines moved to the Ada area from Holdenville in 1973. She was a homemaker and had been active in church as a Sunday School Teacher and church pianist. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Vines and Jack Vines and wife Linda, all of Allen; a daughter, Ruth Davenport of Inola; her grandchildren, Brian Davenport of Inola, Ryan Davenport and wife Rachel of Inola, Nathan Davenport of Inola, Stephen Vines of Kennewick, WA, Mark Vines of Ada, Ruth Vines of Allen, Jessica Freeman and husband Cash of Ada, and Emily Vines of Ada; seven great grandchildren; and sisters, Mary Monks, Oklahoma City, Linda White, Muskogee, Mellissa Bartling, Choctaw and Ann Wagnon, Quinton.
She was preceded in death by two sons, David Vines and Jerry Vines; two sisters, Leota Johnson and Adela Daniels; four brothers, Bill Daniels, Albert Daniels, Jr., Paul Daniels and Emmett Daniels; and a son-in-law, Gene Davenport.
