Services for Darryl James Ripley, 32, of Ada, formerly of Oklahoma City, are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Bro. Jonathan Clour will officiate. Burial will follow at High Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Ripley passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2020. He was born June 22, 1987 at Lawton to Darryl Gore and Edna Ripley. He graduated from Riverside Indian School in Anadarko in 2007.
He married Rikki Cozad January 1, 2009. Mr. Ripley was a laborer in the manufacturing industry and a member of the Billy Hooten Methodist Church. Darryl loved being a father, playing basketball, making music, dancing and he loved making people laugh. His main love was spending time with his children.
Survivors include his wife, Rikki, of the home; his father, Darryl Gore and Edna Gore, of Ada; two daughters, Kamiya “Kookoo” Ripley and Winter “Chunchy Butt” Ripley; a son, Nalijah “Oogah” Ripley; two brothers, Doyle Ripley and wife Kristen, Stonewall and Dillion Gore, Ada; a sister, Desiree Gore and husband Dillon Jacquess, Ada; his aunts and uncles, Joe Don Ripley and wife Anne, Oklahoma City, Bryan Alberson, Ardmore, Matthew Gore and wife Cassandra, Stonewall, Teresa Ross and husband Bud, Tipton, CA, Laverna Leacher, Amarillo, TX, Karen Gore and husband Mikey, Stockton, CA, Elaine Stringfellow and husband Ronnie, Oklahoma City, Edwina Stewart, Durant, Carla Ripley, Oklahoma City and Anthony Gore and wife Jessica, Byng; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded by his grandparents, Marlin and Edith Gore and Sonny and Edith Ripley.
Bearers will be Anthony Gore, Joseph Gore, Doyle Ripley, Dillion Gore, Matthew Gore, Jr., Joseph Gore and Oscar Gore.
