Services for Irene Allen, 91, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at High Hill Baptist Church, Revs. Randy Golden and Earl Hood will officiate. Burial will follow at High Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Allen passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Ada care Center. She was born November 28, 1926 in Haskell county near Keota, Oklahoma to Davis and Lucy Perry Homer. She attended Chilocco School and was a homemaker.
Mrs. Allen was a member of High Hill Baptist Church and she married Henry Allen, February 22, 1945. He preceded her in death, April 28, 2007.
Survivors include sons, Roy Allen of Ada, Peary Allen and his wife Vickie of Lakeland,FL, Alvin Allen and his wife Debbie of Ada and William Allen and his wife Cheryl of Lockhart,TX; daughter, Annie Andrews of Ada; Fourteen grandchildren; Twenty-five great grandchildren and 22 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Mary Delozier; grandson, Alan Andrews; daughter-in-law, Cindy Allen; son-in-law, Stan Andrews; two sisters, Eveline Shook and Jean Factor and brother, Jack Homer.
Bearers will be, Mark Allen, Travis Cowan, Tracy Allen, Jered Allen, Braden Clark ,Jeremy Allen and Roy “BB” Delozier; Honorary bearers will be Derek and Tyler Wishon, A.J. Delozier and her grandchildren.
