Services for Virginia Aguilar-Corona, 74, of Ada will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 19, 2021 at High Hill Baptist Church, Rev. Randy Wade will officiate. Burial will follow at High Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Aguilar-Corona passed away Monday, February 8, 2021 at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born January 3, 1947 in Talihina, OK to John and Pearline Alberson Billy. She lived in this area all her life and graduated from Tupelo High School. She also received a degree from Tulsa Business School.
She married Miguel Aguilar-Corona on June 11, 1982 in Texas. She began working for the Chickasaw Nation in 1984 and retired in 2007. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith, being a member of Faith Baptist Church since 1993.
Survivors include her husband, Miguel Aguilar-Corona, of the home; five daughters, Teresa Huerta-Carrizal, Reba Perry, Glennye Perry, Mischelle Westmoreland, and Jonna Carpenter, all of Ada; a son, Joseph Billy, Ada; 13 grandchildren, Christopher and Thalia Carpenter, Ashley and husband Derrek Bond, Kelsy Hamilton, Sara and husband Austin Emery, Mia, Trenton, and Kaidence Westmoreland, Mic Keisha, Chayton, Rose, Rachelle, and Kobi Carpenter; her beloved great-grandchildren, Cora Westmoreland, Zuly Emery, Rainah, Rory, and Rayan Bond, and Vincent Quintero; and sisters, Jennifer Williams, Irving, TX, Carylon Canida, Ada and Wanda Welch, Ada; and many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents; uncles, Jimmie Alberson, Ed Morris (Alberson); brothers, Richmond Billy, Joseph Billy, Chester Walker and Freeman Billy; sisters, Edith Gore (Alberson), Linda Billy, Katherine Dell (Billy), Leona Lacher (Billy), Barbara Alfred (Billy); one grandson, Nicholas Carpenter; one great-niece, Tammy Billey; and one great-nephew, Aden Vick.
Bearers will be Joseph Billy, Bryan Billey, Dwayne Quillen, Darryl Gore, Daniel Gore and Oscar Gore. Honorary bearers will be Luke Wright, Austin Emery, Ethan Riley, Jeffrey Williams and Mark Bohanan.
