Services for Trudy Gay Odom, 57, of Harden City are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Franks Cemetery near Fittstown.
Mrs. Odom passed away Friday, January 15, 2016 at an Oklahoma City Hospice. She was born January 17, 1958 in Fredericksburg, TX to Walter and Ruby Thorp Glasco. She attended school in Smiley, TX.
She married Joe Odom in 1987. Mrs. Odom worked for 20 years as a packer at Remington Arms. She had been employed with Pre-paid Legal, and later with East Central University for five years as a custodian. Trudy was a member of Hickory Hill Baptist Church. She was an easy going person who loved her children and grandchildren. Trudy loved animals especially her dog, Heidi.
Survivors include her husband, Joe Odom, of the home; a son, Trey Wayne Tomlin, III of Ada; a daughter, Jodi Dawn Odom of Harden City; four grandchildren, Quenton Kordell Odom, of the home, Amarionna Yvonne Odom of the home, Zaden Tomlin and Zoei Tomlin; two sisters, Glenda Simpson of Floresville, TX and Patsy Stahl of Nixon, TX; her mother-in-law, Joyce Odom of Roff; her grandparents-in-law, C. C. and Mary Lou Manuel of Ada; and a dear friend, Ronda Whittington.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Walter “Buddy” Glasco; a sister, Judy Carol Glasco; and her father-in-law, Mickey Odom.
Bearers will be Trey Tomlin, Robbie Odom, Casey Odom, David Bacon and Joe Odom. Honorary bearers will be Kenneth Manuel, Ernie Hallmark, Marty Odom and Mike Odom.
