Services for Bobby Jack “Bob” Tolliver will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Fitzhugh Baptist Church, Rev. Steve Wilburn will officiate. Burial will be at East Hill Cemetery, Roff, OK.
Mr. Tolliver died Thursday, May 26, 2021. He was born May 9, 1943 at Fitzhugh, OK to Kidd and Wilcie Eva Standridge Tolliver. He graduated from Fitzhugh High School in 1961.
After working in Oklahoma City a few years, he started going to college at East Central University graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in elementary education. He started his teaching career at Connerville, OK. He also taught at Joy, OK and then coached boys basketball at McLish and Roff. He ended his teaching career as Principal at Smithville, OK.
He enjoyed riding motorcycles, horses and mules. He was an active member of Fitzhugh Baptist Church.
Mr. Tolliver is survived by his sister Carol Stewart and husband Earl; sister-in-law, Jeanie Tolliver; nieces, Karen Hall and husband Kent, Dana Smith and husband Todd and Susan Stewart; nephew, Kidd Tolliver and wife Luisa; great-nieces and nephews, Karlee Hall, Kolton Hall, Catie Logan and husband Blake, Chance Tolliver and wife Winter, Chandler Smith and wife Becca, Carter Smith and River Love Stewart; and great great-nieces and nephews, Laine Logan, Gray Logan and Knox Tolliver.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kidd and Wilcie Tolliver; and two brothers, Dub Tolliver and Jamie "Rus" Tolliver.
Bearers will be Ryan Tidwell, Joey Morrow, Shane Ellison, Will Clark, Garrett Clark, Dan Wyche and Richard Barnes. Honorary bearers will be Kidd Tolliver, Chance Tolliver, Kent Hall, Kolton Hall, Todd Smith, Chandler Smith, Carter Smith, D. E. Sherrell and Fitzhugh First Baptist Church Men’s Sunday School Class.
