Services for Hobert Ray Robinson, Jr. 94, of Ada are 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Jaymeson Kennedy will officiate. Burial will follow at East Hill Cemetery, Roff.

Mr. Robinson passed away Monday, July 20, 2020 at an Ada hospital. He was born July 21, 1925 at Konawa to Hobert Ray and Beulah Stafford Robinson. He graduated from Horace Mann High School in Ada.

He married Mary Dale West May 30, 1947. She preceded him in death December 7, 1994. Mr. Robinson was a carpenter until his retirement. He was a longtime member of Oak Avenue Baptist Church and had served in the U. S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include two daughters, Donna Haggard and her husband Garry and Sandy Baird and her husband Jeff, all of Ada; his grandchildren, Stephen Haggard and wife Karen, Wilson; Brandon Haggard and wife Shannon, Ada; Angela Fauntleroy and husband Jack, Throckmorton, TX; Melissa Lee and husband Wayne, Ada; Kerri Partridge and husband Chad, Athens, TX; and Orrin Baird and Brandy, Ada; numerous great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and a sister, Lou Ella Wood.

Bearers will be Wayne Lee, Chad Partridge, Jack Fauntleroy, Orrin Baird, Stephen Haggard and Levi Gallegos. Honorary bearers will be Jack Russell, Bill Timothy and Bro. Ray Talbott.
