Tonya Renee Quillen, 50, of Roff, Oklahoma, entered Heaven on Wednesday, September 15th, 2021. Tonya was born on November 10th, 1970 in Mesquite, Tx to Charley and Ella.

Tonya was preceded in death by her father, Charley Quillen, and grandparents Rev. James and Ila Kirk.

Tonya is survived by her mother, Ella Ross and husband Charles of Roff. Daughter, Amanda Tatum and husband Lance of Stonewall. Son, Brian Graves and wife Megan of Madill. Son, Coltin Jenkins and wife Anabel of Little Elm, Tx. Son, Aidan Jenkins of the home. Adopted Daughter, Loren Phillips of Tishomingo. 5 Grandchildren- Brennan, Bella, Braylon, Ila, and Emma. Sisters, Rita Minor, Shelly Ross, and Sherrie White. Brothers, David Smith, Rob Smith, John Ross, Corey Ross, and James Ross. Nieces, Sherry Powers, and Michelle Reynolds. Aunt, Mary Brown. Uncle, Matthew Kirk. Godparents, uncle David Householder, and aunt Susan Householder. And many other loving family members.

Tonya had many jobs over the years, but the one she was best at, was being a mother, and she did it well. She loved to laugh, and was even better at making others laugh. She was quirky. She was never on time. She was stubborn and headstrong. She loved to read, and had enough books to fill a library. She collected pens, and purses. Frogs were her spirit animal. Her favorite color was green. She loved hoodies, oversized shirts, fuzzy socks and comfy pants. She could sing, and had a beautiful voice. She loved Jesus, but cussed a little. She loved big, and had a heart bigger than Texas. She was a fighter, and she fought so hard. Her life wasn’t easy, but it never stopped her. She loved coffee, and unsweet tea with extra ice, lemon, and 4 sweet-n-low. Her family meant the world to her, and she meant the world to us.

Her last written words were as follows: “Tonya was here! Yes…I was. I may not be now. But I was. I fought like heck to stay as long as I could. I guess I lost :( But if I’m gone, I got my healing on the other side- just not here.”

This isn’t an ordinary obituary, because Tonya wasn’t an ordinary woman. God definitely took the best, when He called her home.

Pallbearers will be Brian Graves, Coltin Jenkins, Lance Tatum, James Kirk, Ezekiel VanZant, and Casey Capps. Honorary pallbearers will be Brennan Tatum, and Braylon Graves.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, September 24th, 2021 at Family Worship Center in Roff, with Rev. Patrick Collis officiating. Intermittent will follow at East Hill Cemetery in Roff.
