Graveside services for Ruby Louise Crisp, 86, of Roff were 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the East Hill Cemetery in Roff. Mike Horath will officiate.
Mrs. Crisp passed away Thursday, June 2, 2016 at a Sulphur nursing home. She was born August 30, 1929 near El Reno in Canadian County, Oklahoma to James Albert and Agnes McIntyre Davis. She attended Liberty school in Canadian County, Laxton school in Pontotoc County and graduated from Fitzhugh High School.
She married Joe Crisp May 23, 1947 in Ada. Mr. Crisp preceded her in death February 24, 2003. Mrs. Crisp was a homemaker and worked along side her husband farming, raising sheep, goats and cattle. She later was employed with Harris Propane for 10 years. She was a member of Sunshine Missionary Baptist Church since 1955.
Survivors include a son, Bill Crisp and his wife Betty of Tupelo; a daughter, Joann Crisp of Arizona; two grandchildren, Lamont Ware and Lachelle Ware; and three great-grandchildren, Jenny Ware, Maddy Jo Moore and Max Byrd.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a son, David Crisp.
