Services for Jewel Mae Lee Wilson, 91, Frederick, formerly of the Ada area, are 2 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Baptist Church in Ada. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Francis. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Wilson died Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2010, at a Coalgate hospital. She was born Feb. 13, 1918, at Cedar Grove, Okla., to John Larkin and Janie Mae Williams Lee.
She attended Cedar Grove and Francis schools.
She married Muril Wilson on March 28, 1936, at Oakman . He died Oct. 18, 2002, at Coalgate.
Mrs. Wilson was a Christian school teacher and a licensed practical nurse for hospitals in Ardmore, Pryor and Andrews, Texas. She and her husband pastored several Free Will Baptist Churches in Oklahoma, Texas and New Mexico.
Survivors include three sons, Dr. Milburn Wilson and wife Leota of Rowlett, Texas, the Rev. Billy Ray Wilson and wife Linda of Coalgate, and Dr. Charles Wilson and wife Paulette of Sunnyvale, Texas; two daughters, Katie Louise Martin and husband Burl of Frederick, and the Rev. Mary Jo Johnson of Coalgate; 12 grandchildren, Pamela Thompson and husband Ron of Moore, Vicki Wilson of Ada, Darla Dugan and husband Jim of Brookville, Maryland, Marty Martin and wife Sandi of Frederick, Billy Don Johnson and wife Nancy of Coalgate, Scott Johnson and wife Cindy of Yukon, Billy Wilson Jr., and wife Tish of Kansas City, Chris Wilson and wife Nicki of Coalgate, Chad Wilson and wife Wendy of Mesquite, Texas, Julie Smith and husband Jim of Lubbock, Texas, Johnny Gross and wife Tiffany of Frederick, and Jeremy Wilson of McMendville, Tenn.; 23 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Muril Wilson, her parents, John and Mae Lee, a sister, Lorene Lee, three brothers, Eule Ray Lee (her twin), Floyd Lee, and Hearl Lee, a daughter, Barbara Gross, and two great-grandchildren.
Bearers will be her grandsons, Marty Martin, Billy Don Johnson, Scotty Johnson, Johnny Gross, Chad Wilson, Nicholas Martin and Ryan Wilson. Honorary bearers will be grandsons, Chris Wilson, Jeremy Wilson, Billy Wilson Jr. and Michael Wilson.
