Graveside services for Jerry Michael West, 36, Ada, are 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Rev. Jamie Perry officiating.

Mr. West died on Friday, July 4, 2008, at a local hospital. He was born July 27, 1971, at Ada to Jerry Dean West and Barbara June Taylor West McHenry. He graduated from Byng High School in 1989.

Survivors include his father, Jerry West and wife Linda, Francis; mother, Barbara McHenry and husband Hershel, West Monroe, Louisiana; one sister, Deanna Marie Perry and husband Scottie, Wayne, Oklahoma; two brothers, Ernie West and wife Kerri, New Orleans, Louisiana; and Darren West and wife Veronica, Point Mugu, California; maternal grandmother, Mary L. Taylor, Ada; paternal grandmother, Mary Louise West, Ada; nieces and nephews, Tiffany, Steffany and Dakota Walker, Easton and Nathan West, and Taylor Madison West; an uncle, Buddy West, California; and lots of friends and other family members. He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, William Zachery Taylor; maternal grandmother, Margaret Joyce Watson; paternal grandfather, Louis Owen West; and an uncle, Michael Ray Taylor.

Bearers are Ernie West, Darren West, Josh Wagon, Gary “Copperhead” Fowler, Adam West and Kanan Matthews. Honorary bearers are Roger Rinehold, Ken Messner, Brian Goodwin and Carey Williamson.
