Services for Lewis Raymond Teel, 86, of Ada, are at 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Pastor Josh Wooten and Matthew Frye will officiate. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery.

Mr. Teel passed away Thursday, February 15, 2024, at his home. He was born August 26, 1937, in Ada, to Audie and Catherine Roddy Teel.

Mr. Teel graduated from Latta High School. He served in the United States Army from 1959-1963 in Germany. Mr. Teel married Marilea Lambert in 1970.

He was the owner of Teel’s Auction. Mr. Teel loved hunting, fishing, and going to garage sales. He was a member of Francis Baptist Church.

Mr. Teel is survived by his wife, Marilea, of the home; two step-sons, Gene Knight and Randy Knight; two daughters, Demetri Wooten and her husband, Darake, and DeCarla Sweet and her partner, Fred Theobald; one brother, Ronnie Teel and his wife, Betty; two sisters, Reba Teel and Frances Stringer; eight grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and one great great granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three daughters; one stepdaughter; one grandson; one brother; and one sister.

Bearers are Kelly Creed, Dewey McDonald, Toby Teel, Jeremiah Wooten, Josh Wooten, and Caleb Frye.
