Services for Dellie Scroggins, 95, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Earl Scroggins will officiate. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Scroggins passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2023 in Ada. He was born November 8, 1927 in Francis, OK to Willie and Annie Matthews Scroggins.
Mr. Scroggins married Christine Allison, April 5, 1947. He worked for Evergreen Mills for many years. Mr. Scroggins retired from the United States Air Force after serving in WWII, Vietnam and Korea.
Survivors are his wife, Christine of the home; two daughters, Joyce Campbell and husband Paul of Roseburg, Oregon and Della Waltrip and husband Kevin of Port Orford, Oregon; one brother, Carlus Scroggins of Norman, OK; one sister, Clara Belle Hooser of Ada; five grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Linda Edwards; and three brothers, Truman Scroggins, Eual Scroggins and Leon Scroggins; and one sister, Clarissa Nickerson.
Bearers are Bob Edwards, Robert Scroggins, Tim Scroggins, Shane Kress, Danny Manuel and Logan Watenpaughs.
