Services for Barbara Janette Price, 81, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Revs. Rodger Arter and Jamie Perry will officiate. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery near Francis. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Price went to be with her Lord Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born December 6, 1934 in Cedar Grove, OK to Tollie David and Lovie Griffen Chism.
She married Loyd Arthur Price March 10, 1951. He preceded her in death December 2, 2007. Mrs. Price was a homemaker, an avid gardener and seamstress. She was a member of the Byng Free Will Baptist Church and was active in all church activities. She also taught Sunday School at Ada First Free Will Baptist Church in her earlier days for 25 years.
Survivors include her children, Teresa Daigrepont and husband Jimmy of Shawnee, Darrell Price and wife Celeste of Seminole and Debra Kerr and husband Keith of Union Valley; six grandchildren, Amber Whitman and spouse Jordyn, Luke Kerr and spouse Talia, Brandy Sherrill and spouse Brad, Keressa Compton and spouse Brad, Afton Brauning and spouse Jed and Alonna Price and fiancé, Evan Smith; and 12 great-grandchildren, Jace Ayers, Abigail Ayers, Erin Mae Kerr, Allie Renae Kerr, Bryce Sherrill, Brody Sherrill, Brylee Sherrill, Maggie Rae Compton, Ella Ann Compton, Breanna Brauning, Braelyn Brauning and Josiah Brauning.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Bearers will be Keith Kerr, Luke Kerr, Brad Compton, Brad Sherrill, Jed Brauning, Evan Smith and Jimmy Daigrepont.
